Case Study 1 - Migration

Customer has a prototype web application running on Access. We migrated the application to a SQL Server 2000 back end. Later as the customer's needs grew we migrated the data to SQL Server 2005 on a stand-alone server.

In each phase of the migration we handled all the migration issues from the database side and the application code side including fully testing before flipping over the deployment.

Case Study 2 - Cleaning

Customer has a contact system that containes data from several companies (through mergers and acquistions). Over 100,000 records but many duplicates and incomplete records. We exported all the data from the production system and eliminated/merged over 20,000 duplicate records. Addditionally we were able to clean up/fill in another 20,000 incomplete records.

Case Study 3 - Data Mining

Data mining is the identification of trends in data through co-related fields. Often the results of data mining point to trends that were not known about before hand.

We worked with a customer and their CRM data along with data collected by online survey and using data mining were able to identify their customers who offered the best potential source of sales and revenue growth for the coming year.
